Kiara Siniscalco (10)

Kiara Siniscalco (10) Q and A

Q: What do you like about snowboarding/Skiing?

A: “I like skiing because it’s a really fast paced sport that offers a lot of room for improvement and mastery. I also like that it’s very high intensity but requires less stamina than other high intensity sports.”

Q: What is your favorite trick/skill?

A: “I mostly like trying to go down more advanced hills, or ski racing.” Lily: “360’s and rails are my favorite skill at the moment.”

Q: What is your favorite condition of snow?

A: “The groomed out snow is typically my favorite type of snow because it’s the easiest snow texture to not mess up on and you can go really fast.”

Q:Would you ever try snowboarding/skiing?

A:“I would also like to try it for fun, but I don’t think I would switch.”

Q: What is your favorite part about skiing/snowboarding?

A:“My favorite part of skiing is the adrenaline rush that comes with it, and I also love ski racing as well.”

A:“360’s and rails are my favorite skill at the moment.”

Q:What is your favorite condition of snow?

A:“Powder or slush is my favorite condition of snow because I like how light and airy the snow texture is and it almost feels like floating on a cloud”.

Q:Would you ever try snowboarding/skiing?

A:“Maybe one more time for fun but I could never see myself switching back to skiing.” Kiara- “I would also like to try it for fun, but I don’t think I would switch.”

Q:What is your favorite part about skiing/snowboarding?

A:“I love to do tricks because it makes myself feel accomplished and proud of myself after words.”

Conclusion

In conclusion snowboarding and skiing are both pretty different but can have similar aspects to one another. For example, Lily said how she liked powder or slushy snow, but Kiara said she enjoyed groomed snow better.
