 Q. “Who are the athletes to look out for this season?”

A. “Our top girls to watch are Chloe Metz, a sophomore who placed first in the 100 pole vault event last weekend at their first Invitational. Another girl to look out for is Morgan Parnow, a freshman who ran a 5:29 mile last weekend at the same event. The top boys to watch are Wesley Selby, a junior who placed 3rd in the Varsity Mile last weekend. The last boy to look out for is TJ Parnow, a senior, who placed 5th in the Varsity Mile.”

Q. “How was your first meet?”

A. “So far we have had a scrimmage at Colfax High School and then last weekend we had our first Invitational at Oakmont. There were around 30 schools from all over Northern California. Our team did great and is super positive for the meets to come.”

Q. “How do you feel about this season?”

A. “I feel great about this season. We have a super great group of kids and they are all improving constantly. Everyone is super positive and connected as a team.”

Q. “What do you like about coaching?”

A. “Well, I love this sport. I love the chances I get to see kids improve. I love the looks I see on kids’ faces when they meet their goals and I love watching their teammates celebrate them when they reach their individual goals.”
