A plane crash landed on Thursday May 1st off of Whispering Pines Lane in Grass Valley, Ca.
The pilot was pronounced dead at 8:30 am. No other passengers were on board.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Grass Valley Police Department closed down the street for the rest of the day.
Some kind of failure is suspected, but currently unknown.
“They have regular maintenance they have to do,” said George Woodward, CTE Automotive Services teacher. “But anytime you are working on anything that’s mechanical, there is a possibility” of engine failure.
