The football game on Friday October 6th was a night centered around the heroes of today, those who constantly put their lives on the line to protect the public. To commemorate and show tribute to the people who serve and protect us every day the crowd dressed in red, white, and blue. Prior to the game starting the heroes lined up along the home side of the field and were honored for their service. The varsity game started with lights and sirens.
The final score was 21-62 in West Park’s favor. Despite the loss, spirits remained high and the crowd continued to show honor towards the Nevada County heroes.
