Friday Morning Bomb Threat a Hoax

Staff

Via email: Good morning Miners and Miner families. This is Kelly Rhoden, Principal of Nevada Union High School. This morning Law Enforcement notified the administration of a potential bomb threat at NUHS. The threat came from a number out of Boston that they were holding staff hostage and letting off pipe bombs. Law Enforcement immediately responded to Nevada Union High School to search all buildings and found no threat and very few staff or community members on campus. The threat was cleared at 7:45 am and school is cleared to resume as normal. Law Enforcement will be present on site today to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
