Strong Weather Incoming

Starting tonight and leading into tomorrow precipitation of all variations will move into Norcal including our very own Nevada County.  According to the National Weather Service, in the lower elevations there is expected to be around 1-3” of rain, however there’s more than just rain in the books. Areas of 2000 ft or more will be expecting at least 2” of snow. Now even though we may not be seeing a full snowstorm at NU, a mix of snow and rain is expected. A flood warning has also been issued for areas below 4500 ft. Expect most flooding to be around areas with creeks and streams that may flood. These conditions will be making road conditions especially slick. So stay safe out there these next few days Miners!
